  • DOM's / Muscle Soreness

    How ya going fella's,

Thought I would get some conversation's going on the forum by asking some questions:

Do you get sore/doms whilst on cycle? How does this compare while you are off-cycle / cruising?

On cycle with a moderate dose I personally don't get sore unless I don't eat enough.
Cruising with a low dose I do get some doms but it goes away very quickly as long as I eat enough.
Off-cycle, I turn into a cripple who dreads the toilet haha

Yea your training style would definitely have an impact. When I train like that, I usually do one session heavy and the next volume orientated, that seems to really help with recovery. What's your split look like?

I don't really stretch unless it's causing me issues but I do use the foam roller and trigger ball a fair bit.

I pretty much always get DOMS.
train parts every 7 days and smash them, peak cycle the DOMS arents so bad, couple days at most and not as intense but now after a couple weeks off training and 6 off gear generally doms is lasting about 4 very painful days haha.

It's always a ***** when you still have some doms or just recover from them and you gotta workout the effected body part again.

On cycle I feel like I get all my sorness in 1 day then wake up fine the next day. Off cycle it tends to last 2 or so days. I train 6 days a week every body part twice a week. Plus HIIT for cardio. Off cycle I'll do less excercises per muscle group to optimise recovery as obviously the body isn't repairing as quickly.

Only get soreness after leg day really, on cycle is a lot less but still sore. Other muscle groups I can feel I’ve had a good workout the next day but not sore. Off cycle I can feel it for two days
